The Look Matters Gopher Attack Marathon 2010, the fourth annual Good Friday event, was held on an almost perfect morning.

With a record number of 150 registered runners, $450 was raised for the MS Society.

Mild temperature and light south-easterly breeze, combined with our flat, fast course, produced three new course records, for male marathon, and female marathon and half marathon.

Amazingly, 12 out of 32 marathon finishers ran their Boston qualification times. This was 38% of finishers, which likely is a record for a marathon event.

With the Gopher 2010 already behind us, the runners are primed and ready for new adventures. Have a super 2010 season! Mark this date in your calendars: 22 April 2011, the next year’s Good Friday, Gopher Attack Marathon and Half Marathon day. Watch this site for registration opening in May.
